Replying to a Post

The Forum at RAKScraps has many sections, and many threads.  Joining in the conversation can be as simple as "replying to a post".  Here are the Step-by-Step instructions for how to do this.

There are two ways to get to a thread: you can click on the Forum Name (in the example above: On the Left: RAKScraps Blog Challenge).  Here you will find all of the Threads posted in the last 30 days.  Just click on the Thread you wish to respond to.  You can take a short cut and click on the name of the Thread - if you see it from the Forum Home Page (in the example above: On the Right: RAKScraps Blog Challenge) - by clicking on the name of the thread, you will go immediately to the last post on that thread.

Click on:  Post Reply

Here you will see the options of the Text box.  Place your cursor in the text box area, and type your message.  Click "Submit Reply" and you're done!  That's all there is to it.

If you are looking for a few extra options - you can add an icon to your post (below text box), add Smilies (right of text box), or add a text link or insert an image from the web (Earth with chain link, and yellow picture with mountains and sun icons).  You can also change the font and color of your text, by highlighting your text and choosing those features from the top bar menu of the text tool.  We will discuss these features in length in another tutorial.
